Bliss's Story...
This sweet filly was dumped in the kill pen, so this is all I know. She has less than one week to be saved as of July 22, 2012. It is said that she is registered, however there are no papers currently available for her so she is selling as grade. This filly is young. She was said to be 3 years old and looking at her teeth, and that is probably fairly accurate. She currently stands 14.2hh, but she may have a bit more to grow. She is extremely friendly, easy to handle and decently well mannered. She led, tied, backed, moved over and picked up her feet when asked. She has some marks that appear old superficial barb wire scars. Her feet are definitely over due and need some work, but do not appear to be terrible. She is an extremely nice looking filly, the photos just don't do justice to.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bliss, a Lakebay Palomino was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Palomino for sale in Lakebay, or seeking a Palomino from a breeder in Lakebay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lakebay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lakebay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Palomino breeders who help with Palomino rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lakebay paves the way for another one to be saved.
