Gage's Story...
Introducing Gage.. He is a Plott Hound Mix puppy. Approximate age is 9 weeks. He weighs 16 pounds. He is a beautiful brindle boy! He is going to steal your heart. He gets along great with all dogs. He is awesome with children. We are working on his puppy manners and also on potty training in his foster home! He is very playful and seems to really like flip flops!
Please remember that all puppies will take a few months before 100% potty trained. Puppies will find many things in your home to chew as they teethe. We hope to find patient homes for our puppies that will train them and make them a great addition to their family!
Gage has been examined by a vet and received his first puppy shots/deworming. He will get the rest of his puppy shots, big boy shots, and will be neutered and microchipped once old enough by Hope 4 Paws. An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.

The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Molly at hallamart@sbcglobal.net
The adoption fee of $275 covers all vetting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gage, a Plainfield Plott Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Plott Hound puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
