Priscilla was rescued with her sister, Pickwick, after being abandoned by their previous owners on the side of a rural road with a bowl of water. They are very good pups! Priscilla loves to play in water, with other dogs, and children. She gets along well with cats too. They are about 13 weeks old, spayed, current on vaccinations and ready for their home. Priscilla's adoption fee is $450. Please email tlc.mchs@yahoo.com for more information and adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Priscilla, a Monroe Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
