My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Mika (ME ka). I am a Siamese mix if you didn’t know by looking at my beautiful markings. I also have blue eyes! I am a bit of a talker and will let you know how I feel. I also enjoy a good game of chase with my foster siblings. I am a bit of a tom girl and I do like to play a little rough at times. I am learning that playing with my siblings is not the same as playing with my foster mom’s hand. Sometimes I forget and like to nibble on her fingers. I will get better at this as I grow and am encouraged to treat my new family gently. People skin isn’t as tough as kitty fur! I am a happy kitten and will make a great pet for a family.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
