Oscar's Story...
Having a hard day? You can count on Oscar to snuggle up and make you feel better! This sweet, cuddly boy loves to sit next to you or lie quietly with his head on your lap.

He also likes to play (although he's puzzled by balls and toys.) Like many Kees, his idea of a good time is to play bow and run around the house being silly! He definitely has a sense of humor!

Oscar has things to say! He looks right at you with a sparkle in his eye and whispers in a tiny little voice, "Woof, woof!" What a cute boy he is!

He gets along beautifully with other dogs, and sits patiently while his Keesie foster brother washes his ears! Slurp! He has also lived with kitties.

Oscar likes to spend the evenings watching TV with his head in his foster mom's lap! He's looking for someone who'll appreciate his quiet devotion and enjoy cuddling as much as he does. Could that person be you?

Are you lucky enough to adopt this very sweet boy?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Los Altos Keeshond dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Keeshond for sale in Los Altos, or seeking a Keeshond dog from a breeder in Los Altos.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Altos already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Altos breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Keeshond breeders who help with Keeshond rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Altos paves the way for another one to be saved.
