My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED Bio 07/30/12: Hi, My name is Paris. I am a 5 year old 3.5 pound yorkie girl who is being fostered in Delray Beach, Florida. My housetraining is going excellently, but my foster mom was more concerned about my rear leg. I was holding it up a lot like it hurt. Today I went to the dogtor surgeon who took care of Odie, and they took an x-ray of my leg. It turns out my knee is pretty good but I do have a dislocated hip. He tried to put it back together several times, but it kept popping back out. I need surgery to fix it. It's called an FHO (femoral head osteotomy). It costs a lot of dollars, and I was hoping some nice people might help me out. I really am a doll baby and am loving my new life..... I would really appreciate it if there are people out there who will help pay for my operation so I can have an even BETTER life. My Foster Mom says there are lots of angels out there and many have helped little dogs that FM has fostered to get better.

INITIAL BIO 7/28/12: Hi, My name is Paris. I am a 5 year old 4 pound yorkie girl who was surrendered by my owners because they could not give me the love, care and attention that I deserve. The wonderful people at UYR saved me and I flew a long way to get to my foster home in Delray Beach, Florida. My Foster Mom was told that I was not housebroken, but in the 3 days I have been here I have only pottied on paper or outside. I wait until FM takes me. Foster Mom told me that I am just the sweetest girl and she feels bad that I stay by myself in the bedroom until she takes me to sit with her. Nobody ever paid that much attention to me and I just kind of melted into the furniture! Foster Mom is giving me lots of love and as the days go by she will update my progress so everyone will know how I am doing.

I do have a slight problem. I may need to have one of my knees fixed. I can't put it down and walk on it and I may have luxating patella that may need very costly surgery. After I find out I will let you know and if you would like to donate to my operation I would really appreciate it. And it really helps United Yorkie Rescue to continue their wonderful work. I know it's wonderful because here I am!!!

More updates to come soon as soon as I let my FM know just how I am. Right now she is already in love with me
