My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yule has made a remarkable recovery from his sad days of being surrendered to a "high kill" shelter. Just look at his happy face and you can see the joy just oozing! He has been in a foster home with an infant and a very loving family. Yule is very laid back and would love to be part of a family to call his own.

Yule's whole world turn upside down when his owner and dearest friend passed away with cancer and no one wanted him. The family took him to the "high kill" shelter and never looked back. It was like living in a nightmare compared to the life he had with his master.

Christy saw the sadness in his eyes and knew the desperation he felt. He was ready to just give up. His heart was broken but Christy is helping him find a new family. Yule is about 6 years young, already neutered, house trained and get along with the other pets in the home. Can you make his holiday wish come true?

Dr. Ruth Wilburn fell in love with Yule's gentle temperament when she examined him. She believes he is a Chocolate and Silver Lab mix. So the coloring on his face is not grey, it's the silver in his coat.

Yule's adoption fee is $100. Please go to our website www.save1pet.org and complete our adoption questionnaire if you'd like to adopt Yule.

Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home.
