My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty was an urgent plea to the NY Rescues on July 23, 2012. The ACC believed she had been hit by a car. Anjellicle Cats Rescue pulled Betty and found her a wonderful foster home!! She has extensive bruising and swelling around her pelvis and hind limbs. Despite being in some pain, she is being a VERY tolerant mommy and is allowing all babies to nurse. Once she has settled in for a few days, and adjusted to her new surroundings, she will be evaluated by a veterinarian to ensure that everything is healing properly.
Betty has been able to urinate and defecate on her own despite severe injuries to her pelvis. She can't stand up and walk around just yet, but we are keeping her clean, dry and comfortable and, of course, VERY well fed. So far she's been eating 24 ounces of canned food a day! Lots of mouths to feed! Her kittens were born around July 4, 2012 and will be ready for adoption around August 29, 2012. The kittens are: Billie (m), Nancy (f), Doris (f), Grape (m), Sherry (f) and Theo (m).

You can help contribute to Betty's medical bills by donating to her chipin below! Thank you!
