Webster's Story...
Webster was rescued from a local shelter, where he was getting dangerously close to death row. In a rare stroke of luck, he was pulled from the shelter. Unfortunately his rescuer could not keep him at their house, so Webster has been boarded for the past 6 months. While he loves his people at the boarding facility, Webster is ready to get out and be in a real, forever home. If Webster could talk, we think he would tell you, that he can’t wait to show you how good he is… oh, and he can’t wait to lay down on some carpet! That would be awesome! Are you ready to give Webster a bed to lay his head on? And a squeaky toy?! Play fetch with him?! (He loves fetching tennis balls!) And lots of room to stretch out?!! And lots of walks and playtime?!!! Webster thinks that you may be the perfect person to show him what life is all about, and he can’t wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Webster, a Houston Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
