Pee-Tee's Story...
Meet Pee-Tee, a young Chihuahua, Dachshund....perhaps some Min Pin mix breed that has the heart of gold. Pee-Tee came into rescue from a shelter where and owner had turned him in because they could not take care of him anymore.
Pee-Tee has deformed rear legs and can not walk on them. He gets around pulling himself and we also have made a wheelchair for him. We have some special clothes that have also been made so that when he is pulling himself around, he does not scuff up his legs.
Pee-Tee has the personality that would win anybodys heart, and he has the will and personality to do anything he wants. His rear legs keep him from doing nothing!!
If you would like more information on Pee-Tee or would like to fill out an application, please contact us at k9scome1st@aol.com., his adoption fee is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pee-Tee, a Ft. Myers Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Ft. Myers, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ft. Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
