Sidney's Story...
Sidney is a loving 3 year old little Phalene Papillon (drop-eared). This little boy has come back to us because of a change in his family's lifestyle. He is alone much of the time and the family doesn't feel it is fair to such a great dog. Sidney is a tall boy and weighs about 12 lbs. He is house trained and loves to run around in the yard. Sidney knows how to sit and does well on the leash. True to the breed, Sidney is affectionate, loves to cuddle and is very intelligent. Sidney is good with children if they don't startle him. If you have room in your heart and home for this gorgeous boy, please to to go to for an application to adopt or email for additional information. Sidney is fully vetted and isn't due for any vaccinations until July.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sidney, a Hilliard Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Hilliard, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Hilliard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hilliard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hilliard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hilliard paves the way for another one to be saved.
