Gidget's Story...
This is Gidget, she is 2-3 and an Australian Shepherd/ cattle dog mix. She just had pups so in a few weeks when she is spayed she would love a forever home! She is very gentle and loving. She is a great mama dog! She loves her pups but is excited this will be her only litter, she will be spayed when she can be. Gidget is a very busy dog, she does her perimeter checks, keeps the birds out of our airspace (don't want any bird poo on the pups) and still keeps her 7 puppies inline!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gidget, a Council Bluffs Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Council Bluffs, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Council Bluffs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Council Bluffs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Council Bluffs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Council Bluffs paves the way for another one to be saved.
