Daisy Mae's Story...
Daisy was found abandoned June 24 2012 at approximately 5 weeks old. She weighed 4.4 lbs, had fleas, worms and a bad case of scabies. After lots of TLC and proper vet care she is a new girl. She has been in a foster home since June 28th, and is doing fabulous! She is current on her vaccines and will be spayed soon. Her skin has cleared up, and her hair is coming in beautifully!! She lives with 2 big foster brothers and several cats and does well with them all. She is being crate and potty trained and is learning to walk on a harness and leash. She is full of personality, and has the most adorable under bite. We aren’t exactly sure what breed Miss Daisy Mae is, except the ADORABLE breed!! This little lady is waiting eagerly for her forever home. Could it be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Mae, a Dallas Boxer/Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pug for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Boxer/Pug puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pug breeders who help with Boxer/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
