Snickers's Story...
Hi! My name is Snickers. I somehow ended up at a very high-kill shelters here in Los Angeles, and I don't even know how that happened! I got really sick in the shelter, coughing a lot and covered in green snot, so no one wanted to adopt me :( Finally, some really nice people noticed me and and came to my rescue. I am now recovering at the at a really nice vet's office and getting the love and care that i need and deserve.

I am so sweet and obviously quite handsome. I look like a miniature Golden Retriever with cute white paws. I am only 20 lbs and about 1 year young. I am a very happy little man despite my shelter past and really just want everyone to love me. I walk well on a leash (or shall I say "prance" well on a leash) and behave very nicely in my crate. Won't you please be my Forever Family?

p.s. I plan on posting better pics soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Los Angeles Golden Retriever/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Corgi for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Corgi dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Corgi breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
