Looking for a dog that’ll light up your life? I am your girl! My name is Izzy and I just lo-o-o-o-ve people. I was found on the street and taken to the shelter. I was so scared. The other dogs thought my ears were too long and I was too skinny. I came to my foster Mom a very scared frightened girl so it was obvious to her that I did not have the best start to my young life. I have simple needs – I just want some tender loving care in return for my affectionate devotion. Like all dignified ladies, I take my time getting to know new people. I am looking for an owner that is patient and kind and will spend the time to help me become more confident and reach my full potential…with a lot of patience, time, understanding and love, the results are amazing. I melt hearts wherever I go. I have so much love to give and think I would be best if I was an only pet…after all, I deserve all the attention I never had. If you come meet me, I may be a little scared at first because someone was once really mean to me, but if you give me love, I'll come to trust you, and I will be loyal to you for the rest of my life-and I don't even care if your ears are too big or what size you are! It's what's inside that counts, right? I am house trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines.
