My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is a young (3 years), very tall male who really enjoys the company of other dogs, people and adores kids. Cooper would like the cats to join in playing with him, but he totally understands when they tell him no. Cooper is a real gentleman in the house- no counter surfing or garbage excavating for this young man! Cooper’s confidence and trust are building each day and his favorite activities are running, playing tug of war and using his Pyr paw to garner more attention. This young fellow is the star of the dog park and can quickly work his way into your heart. Cooper enjoys field trips to kid’s baseball games, movies in the park and basks in the attention he receives. If you know of anyone who can be patient and kind to allow Cooper’s confidence and trust to continue to build and who can spend time playing with and loving on Cooper, please let them know about this dear fellow. Cooper would really enjoy a family with another dog and kids for companionship.

Cooper is microchipped, neutered, and negative for heartworm. Cooper has been treated for tick borne illness (anaplasmosis and ehrlichia), which are common where he is from. Otherwise, Cooper is in fine health.

An adoption application, site visit, secure visible fencing, and an adoption fee are required to adopt Cooper.
