Hitch's Story...
Hitch is a super sweet American Bulldog/Lab mix. He is11 months old and was dumped in the Everglades a s a baby due to a misformed leg. He has had surgery on his leg to stabilize it and it adds character to a super cute dog. Hitch is great on a leash, adjusts well to new situations and is very friendly. He does well with small and large dogs, loves to play and even like cats! He prefers not to share his food or toys so he must be sperated when eating and not have toys around other dogs. He is living with 2 female terrier mixes that boss him around and he loves them. For a young dog he is laid back. To adopt Hitch please visit www.pitifulpups.com/availabledogs and fill out an application. His adoption fee is $200. You can call 407-476-6364 for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hitch, a Orlando American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Orlando, or seeking a American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
