Jethro's Story...
Howdy! If ya recall the Beverly Hillbillies, I look a whole lot like Jed’s dog, Duke. The vet says I’m a “red” bloodhound. Pretty rare around here.
I’m sorta ragged right now–was on my own for quite a while–but I’ll be o.k. before long. Especially when I get a good home! I’m friendly and I don’t ask for a lot: someone to love, enough grub for normal weight, enough cool water, and a fenced place that’s fairly comfortable. Be a hero to a guy in need, and get yerself a buddy too!
Use the link to the adoption application, or feel free to email or call. The fee is only $85.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jethro, a Tahlequah Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Tahlequah, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Tahlequah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tahlequah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tahlequah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tahlequah paves the way for another one to be saved.
