Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WE ARE SORRY BUT WE ON LY ADOPT WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA
Diesel is a handsome young Husky boy with beautiful symmetrical markings. He is still puppyish and very shy when approached by people he does not know. He needs to develop a trusting relationship before he will show you affection but once you become friends he will shower you with devotion.
He is the most endearing youngster. He lays his head against you when getting petted and will lift his front paw off the floor and start rolling over, hinting, not so subtly, that you should rub his belly. He always appears so happy it looks like he runs around with a smile on his face. Diesel is crate trained but should not need a crate, much preferring to be with his humans and his foster sister.
At one year, Diesel is already a tall boy. His frame and large paws indicate that he will be a big strong guy when full grown. He currently appears almost thin at fifty-four pounds. He has a good appetite and still gaining weight. Diesel and his foster sister play for hours at a time and become so exhausted that they fall asleep side by side.
Diesel is an energetic young guy that is not destructive when he has someone to play with so we feel he would do best in a home with another dog. He has shown no signs of aggression towards other dogs but, due to his size and strength, his playing routine may be a little rough with some small dogs. He enjoys walks and does well on a leash. He has the typical Husky prey drive toward squirrels and other small animals so he would probably be better in a home with no cats.
Diesel is healthy, Heartworm negative, housebroken, neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. You can make yourself feel good and bring some sheer joy into your life by giving this boy a chance at a loving, forever home.
