Nemo's Story...
This handsome 3-5 year old male was found, by his foster mom, living outside of a retail store on a busy road. He had been there for over two months. Nemo is full of personality. He comes, and will reply when called by name. He is very verbal. While he prefers not to be held, he is very social, loves to have his ears rubbed and enjoys being around people. He will sit on the couch or lie next to you in bed and loves sitting on the desk while his foster mom is on the computer. Nemo would prefer to be an “only child” and can be confrontational with other cats. He would be fine with a dog as long as the pooch ignored him. Nemo would do best around older kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nemo, a Jenkintown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Jenkintown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Jenkintown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jenkintown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jenkintown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jenkintown paves the way for another one to be saved.
