Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lori was rescued from a high kill shelter along with her daughter, Piper. A man who had become too old to hunt surrendered both of them to an animal control officer. Lori is somewhat shy but has really blossomed in her foster home. She is very sweet, not a mean bone in her body and once she trusts you not to hurt her, loves to be petted. We don’t think they knew what toys were for but now love playing with them. Lori gets along with other dogs, and is submissive. Fully grown at about 40 lbs the vet aged her at 2.5 yrs old. She is active like most Pointers, and chases birds, butterflies but never catches them. She is now spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworms and on preventatives. She is crate trained and has not made a mistake in her foster home. She is trained on a PetSafe radio fence. Lori’s dream is to have a FUR-ever home with fenced yard to play in during the day and a warm cozy bed inside with her family. Please contact her foster Mom, vivgraves@hotmail.com for an application or more information. Adoption fee of $175 applies to approved home to help defray care and veterinary costs.
