Tannar's Story...
Tannar is my name and happy is my game. My D.O.B. is 8/10/11. I came to MAS from a hoarding situation in Calhoun County. I was an owner surrender at just a puppy. I really do not understand why as I am just your typical puppy. I need a patient family that can teach me my commands and behaviors. I would love a family that is active and can give me lots of time. A big back yard to play in would be great too. I love to play fetch with you. I am one of the most loyal breeds out there and I know I will be the best "Forever Friend" any family could have. Please come and see me soon.

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tannar, a Lake Odessa American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
