There are just no words to express how amazing this young boy is!! Leroy is an 8 month old St. Bernard/Rottie mix who is looking for a new home deserving of such an awesome dog!!! Leroy's story does not have a good beginning. He and his brother Elsworth (already found his forever home) were in a very bad situation and a good Samaritan eventually got the two brothers away from the ones that were being so cruel to them. This man had these two dogs completely vetted at his own expense and became attached to the brothers, but unfortunately, he lives in an apartment and could not keep the dogs for his own. It was very difficult for this man to bring these two boys to the shelter. Their lives had little hope until this kind man stepped in to help them. We don't want to see his efforts wasted. This boy will need an owner(s) who is willing to train him in basic obedience, especially considering he will be a large dog. Leroy craves attention, most likely due to the bad start he had in life.
