My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Daisy!
She is a Pasadena gal who appeared to have been left behind with her puppy when someone moved out of an apartment and left them behind on the street. When one of our prior adopters noticed them and asked someone nearby, they learned they had been out there about a week. Daisy & her puppy, Cocoa (adoption pending) were sitting on the side of the street and ran right up to their rescuers like they had been waiting!

Daisy is a really friendly girl who really loves to cuddle and sit next to (or on!) her foster mom on the coach. She also likes to play and is very submissive. It's funny because Roo (who is an SHR Alum!) is as well. So they play, but it involves a lot of lying on the ground and rolling over for them – who can show who their belly first. Daisy is well mannered & she has obviously lived in a house before. She likes kids and loves the attention. She chases the cat, but i think is a game to her, she is not mean about it and she also has moments that she walks right by him with no interest. She could be good with the right cat and with some time, but definitely prefers the company of other dogs more. She is housebroken and seems to do fine in a crate. We think she is almost completely Jack Russell and she acts like one. Daisy is approximately one year old, so she has lots of energy and can get bored easily. A home with another dog and lots of family to play with would be ideal for Daisy! She is very affectionate and waiting patiently for her own home!
