Petunia-Crown Village's Story...
This is Petunia. She is very sweet and quite petite. (That rhymed. heehee) She is a gorgeous little black kitty with just a few white hairs here and there. It's so cute! She gets along with her siblings and kitten friends great, but is a bit shy when it comes to people. She loves attention, pets, and belly rubs. But she isn't sure about being held for long periods, although a little cuddling is just fine with her. Petunia and her sister, Pistachio, have come a long way. Their fosters are very proud of them. But unlike their other sister, Natasha and their brother, Leonard, these little girls will probably need to be in a quiet home without children.

Update: Petunia was adopted with her friend, Rhiannon. However, she is coming back from her adopters. Their home just isn't the right one for this sweet baby. (They are keeping the other kitten they adopted. She has a great home.) And because of this, we are now insistent that Petunia and her sister Pistachio get adopted together. Their new adopter needs to be someone with patience and the ability to sit on the floor at their level. They are very sweet and playful once you've gained their trust. These darling babies deserve a loving and understanding forever home where they can be together.

Petunia's adoption fee is $75. And you can get a discount for adopting kittens in pairs. We encourage all adopters to take into consideration that most cats do better when they have a companion. All of our cats and kittens are kept current on shots, worming, and will be microchipped by us. And when it's time, we'll take care of their spaying. Plus, they come with a 3-week health guarantee and a 2-week satisfaction or refund guarantee; although we think you'll fall in love and never want to let them go. Call 937-271-1411 or email cat_rescue@earthlink.net to inquire about any of our adoptable cats and kittens. . Many of our kitties can also be seen at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday from 1 to 6; we alternate between Centervillle and Kettering stores so call for that weekend's location before you come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia-Crown Village, a Fairborn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
