Lance "URGENT"'s Story...
Lance and Luther need a place to retire fast. They are currently in a high kill shelter in SC and will be brought up on a transport if they are adopted. They are shy, sweet little guys who were dumped at the shelter. Our vet thinks that they are around 6-8 years old. They will both be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, but they are both Heartworm positive and will need to be treated as soon as possible at your family vet. Because this is a costly treatment I will drop my adoption fee ($150), but I would need to know your veterinarian's information so I can keep up with their progress in their treatment. Saving $150 each on the adoption process will help with the costs of their treatment. They are both around 25 lbs and are super sweet. They would be ok with older kids, but during their treatment will not need to play a lot, they will need to be in a settled environment. They are good with other dogs, but have not been around cats in the shelter, so we are unsure of how they will do. Please e-mail to day for an application to save these dogs' lives.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lance "URGENT", a Baltimore Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
