Jazz's Story...
I am an owner surrender by a family that has had me for 5months, l am 1 years old. The reason they have me is because of friend of theirs went to Afghanistan and asked if they could me for him while he was gone but never came back to get me.

l lived with 4 small children, 2 of which are toddlers, cats and another 1 year old GSD and l got along well with all of them. l was given up because they thought that they couldn't give me the time and attention l needed and they wanted to find a better home for me.

They did take me to the beach and I must say l love the BEACH and the water.

The picture of me is one day at the beach in Galveston.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jazz, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
