Fawn's Story...
Fawn was rescued from a local shelter after he owners surrender her there due to moving. She was afraid and timid so overlooked by the general public and in the shelter for several months and her time in the shelter was running out. She was adopted but sadly returned because they bought two purebred puppies. She is very sweet but still timid and afraid. She wants to be near and with you and loves to be petted.

She would be best in a home as the only dog

*** NO CATS ***

She is very sweet but still timid and afraid. She is adjusting to her new foster home.

Stop by and meet our other pets on Saturdays from noon to 4pm near the groomers in the PetSmart store in Simi Valley, except holiday weekends. Please email ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fawn, a Simi Valley Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
