Meadow's Story...
Hi, my name's Meadow! I was a stray and some nice people found me and brought me into the shelter. Since I was a stray, they don't know a lot about me. They're guessing I'm around 7 years old, and am a shepherd/boxer mix. We're not sure how I am around dogs and cats yet, but I seem ok around kids and strangers. Before I am adopted I will be up to date on shots, have a microchip, and will be spayed. Now all I need is someone to give me a home and love me! Do you think you have room in your house and heart for a nice girl like me? The shelter is open on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 1-8 and Wednesday's and Friday's from 1-5, come visit me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meadow, a Youngwood Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
