PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION

MEET PAISANO.....brother, friend, comrade....this boy just wants to be loved and love back. A 14 lb, 2 yrs old, charcoal and white, Lhasa Apso with possibly a pinch of Shih Tzu....Paisano was just dropped off on a corner where many dogs are dumped and their rescue angels could not find his guardians. He's such a good boy and was not in horrible shape, we cannot fathom how he ended up homeless. We got him neutered and up to date on his shots....chipped him and now he is ready to go to YOUR house! This is a family dog who loves people and kids (please over 8 yrs old), but he is a Lhasa and is a bit apprehensive for the first 10 seconds! Paisano ideally would love another single or female confident dog to play with, and maybe kids to wrestle and cuddle with. He responds well to training and would be great with a family who wants to teach him more and engage him. He is not a high maintenance dog, but he will need regular grooming and training. Seems to be getting the hang of the potty training thing...but we never guarantee. Paisano is very attached to his pack and needs a home where he can be a part of the action. He should not be left alone for long periods of time by himself as he does not like being left alone. He really wants to sleep on the bed with his humans, but we have learned that he becomes a little possessive of his human, so he either needs to go to a home with just one other, confident dog or a very engaging family. This is a dog who needs to be part of your family....and he is so worth it. A lover!

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!
