Sister: The Betty White of the Canine World!

Sister is a 9 to 10 year old Lab mix who weighs 60 pounds. Sister has spent her entire life having one litter after another. Her prior family left her outside to roam and she was frequently picked up by the Animal Control (AC) officer. In years past, Sister's 'family' retrieved her from the AC facility, but they chose not to pick her up this last time. We were contacted by the AC Officer who asked us to help this sweet and special girl - and we did! We brought Sister into rescue and had her fully vetted. Like most senior females who have never been spayed, Sister suffered from painful mammary tumors. We had the tumors removed at the same time that she was spayed. Sister is now in great shape! She's spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped! Sister is a wonderful girl - everyone who meets her falls in love with her! While Sister is a senior gail, she has lots of spunk and lots of life left in her!! She's the Betty White of the canine world - smart, sassy and determined to live a good life!
