This is Mimi. She is a Shepherd/Husky mix. She is reddish-brown and white and weighs about 60 pounds. Mimi is about 3 years old. Mimi is very shy and docile. She would be best with someone who is animal savvy and can work with neglected animals. She is coming along and learning her commands. Mimi is very bonded to Gigi (AFA#12-05F) and they were rescued from the same house. Mimi wouldn't be good with cats. In Mimi's case she would be best as the only dog or with a male dog. Mimi, Gigi, Cisco (AFA#12-04M) and Jethro (AFA#12-07M) all came from the same place so any of these dogs would be good together for someone looking to get a second dog. (Note: with Cisco, Gigi or Mimi, there is a two for the price of one to keep any of these animals together. They were all rescued simultaneously and they are all compatible interchangeably.) Mimi is spayed with shots. For more information on Mimi, please call Lisa @ tel # 661-944-3396 or 661-917-7742 or email l.napier@sbcglobal.net.

About High Desert Angels For Animals

About Our Rescue Group...

High Desert Angels for Animals rescues abandoned and unwanted dogs in the Antelope Valley, intercepting before they are turned into the animal shelter. We strive for the 3 R's: rescue, rehabilitate and re-home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a Los Angeles County licensed kennel, for viewing of the dogs, please request and fill out an adoption application. If initially approved, we will contact you for a phone interview. Our adoption process requires a home visit and contract.

Our Adoption Process...

All our animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, current on their vaccines, including rabies shots if they are old enough. Our adoption process consists of an interview and application to determine the best match for the animal and the adoptive family. If the application is approved, a home check will be conducted, and a contract signed. Part of our ongoing commitment to the adoptive family includes a follow up call to ensure all is well following the adoption. Our adoption fees for dogs are $150 and up.
