Martie's Story...
Update: We only have one puppy left. Martie is absolutely adorable, but a little more shy than her siblings. She is a great dog looking for a forever home. Please give her that home!!!!!URGENT - this rescue is closing - We have 4 of these cuties that were rescued from a well publicized hoarding situation. The vet estimates that they are about 8 - 10 months old. There are 2 black ones - and 2 brown ones - 3 females and 1 male. Despite coming from horrific circumstances, these puppies are as happy go lucky, sweet, and well adjusted as any puppy you can find anywhere. And - they are small - and will be small dogs (below 25 pounds). We will spay/neuter them prior to adoption, but they are vaccinated, have gained weight, and they will be considering applications for their forever homes. If you would like to give one of these incredible pups a forever home, please submit an application which you can find on our website (www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org). Please email it to us for the fastest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Martie, a Capon Bridge Border Collie/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Dachshund for sale in Capon Bridge, or seeking a Border Collie/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Capon Bridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capon Bridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capon Bridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Dachshund breeders who help with Border Collie/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capon Bridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
