CHOWDER is a beautiful 2-3 year old male Chow Chow.

He is tall, handsome and WONDERFUL.  Prances and plays!  He is so Mr. Coool and friendly with EVERYONE.  Really great w/ people and other dogs.  Would be a perfect family dog or single companion.

He was saved from high kill Orange County shelter which tends to kill Chows quickly.  He's being boarded in Culver City, so he needs a home or foster family asap!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chowder, a Marina del Rey Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
