Wizard is a very handsome, friendly, fearful and loving, two to three-year-old, 10-pound, male Shih Tzu looking for a loving guardian. Wizard was found stray on the streets of Chicago. He was so matted that he could hardly walk. He is fantastic with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. He seems to prefer men to woman and will occasionally snap if you put your hands near his face. But, on the other hand, he’s often just fine and lets his foster mom carry him around, and snuggles in her bed. Because he’s unpredictable, he’s looking for an adult-only, dog-experienced home where someone will be sure to go slow with him and give him the time he needs to adjust. Wizard is non-destructive in the home. He is crate-trained and housebroken when kept on schedule. He gets along with cats that adore dogs, but if they are shy, he runs, barks and chases them. Wizard is great on walks, and loves rides in the car. Wizard is neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.
