My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tatianna is one precious girl!! Upon meeting her, one thing was clear. While it was very apparent that she has had a very rough start at life and was very frightened, the one thing that she held on to was hope. Hope that someone would notice her among the sea of dogs all facing the same fate. Hope that for once, humans would not let her down. Hope that as our volunteers walked by that day at animal control, they would stop, and truly see her. Well, "Tati" was not going to take any chances, though she was so very afraid and being bullied by another dog, she took a big step forward, reached over the other dogs in her kennel, and placed her paw on the window towards one of our volunteers. Her pleading eyes prompted immediate action.
Upon removing her from the kennel, Tatianna immediately went up to the volunteer whose attention she worked so hard at getting, and showered her with kisses, something she has not stopped doing to this day!
Tatianna has blossomed in foster care. While she is initially a little shy in new situations, she LOVES her people and wears her affections on her paw.
She is, paws down, the world's BEST cuddler!! You will never have an empty lap with Tati around! Her foster mom also says that she is so sweet to sleep with. Tati presses her body as close to yours as possible, and is out for the rest of the night. Upon waking, she greets you with little whines of happiness and kisses.
Tati has some funny quirks about her! She loves her little stuffed animals and treasures them. So much so that she finds hiding places for each one and checks on them periodically to make sure they are still in their "hiding" places. She sprints around the house with them in her mouth, giving them a good pounce, and then returns them to their "spots". A great compliment that she occasionally bestows is bringing one her her "babies" to a family member as her "safe" spot.

Tatianna is great on leash and has a cute little prance. She adores her morning walks, and also goes running with her foster mom, having no trouble at all in keeping up! (She doesn't even complain about her 4:30am wake up call, unlike past foster dogs! ;) Though she is known to crawl back into bed after her morning exercise while mom gets ready.

Tati crates like a dream and even chooses to lay in her crate when the doors are open. She likes having her "safehaven." She is definitely a little comfort seeker and most often can be found snuggled on a comfy blanket on the couch, and burrowed into pillows. She's such a snuggle muffin!!

Tati has a very strong social draw towards women and children. She likes men too, and adores her foster dad, however she is always more cautious around them until she knows they are "safe." It took all of 10 seconds for her to fall in love with her foster dad.

Tati's foster family is just in love with her. They shared, "Tatianna is such a blessing to our family! She is my best little running buddy and sleeping partner, my daughter's best friend and sibling she never had, and my hubby's "little princess." Within an hour of being in our home he was cooking up a big pot of chicken for her. We thought that it would take a lot for her to overcome her fears, but she has taken to our household seamlessly. She is a GEM! Her forever family will be getting a WONDERFUL, loving companion. You couldn't ask for more!"
So what do you think? Could Tati be "the one" you have been looking for? She is truly eager to begin her next chapter in life..a story that will give her the "happily ever after" she so deserves.
