My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aja is a Stunning Gal. She is just as sweet as she is pretty. She's a very affectionate girl and wants to be very close and near you. She would like to think she's a lap puppy and will climb up to sit in your lap, and she's a hugger too. Aja is a high content mix, we think she might be German Shepherd and Malamute, which some classify them as a Alaskan Shepherd. She gets along fine with other dogs, is playful, walks great on a leash. Aja loves loves loves Water!, Kidde Pool, garden Hose, lake, she just loves being in it. She is a very sensitive gal who is very attuned to her surroundings and family and is looking for a family to call her own. Aja is a true Blessing to have around. UPDATE ON AJA: Aja was previously adopted 6 months ago, we thought she had a forever home, but apparently something within the family dynamics changed and their commitment to Aja was not there anymore. They said she was too nice to strangers and just not the guard dog they'd hoped she'd be. Due to unknown stress within the home and pressure on Aja they relinquished her back to the rescue, We were extremely disappointed and Aja is heartbroken to say the least, but we will do our best to help her thru her sadness and find a family who will truly make a lifetime commitment to Aja.
