Isabella's Story...
My photo is coming soon! I was turned in to the shelter by my owner's family.....he had passed away and no one wanted me. Lucky for me, a nice rescue lady in Louisiana came to get me. She cared for me, and vetted me. I am the sweetest mini-Schnauzer and I try to show have a lot of years left by my energy and attention to my people. I am 11 years old and weigh around 20 pounds. I would love a home with a retired person, who just wants a bit of companionship. My fee of 250. is reduced, from the usual fee of 375., due to my age. I come fully vetted, with a Health Certificate and a (neg) Heartworm test. The fee also includes transport to RI and a collar and leash as well. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT or NY, western MA, Maine, Cape Cod, or are near the Boston or Worcester (MA) or Litchfield, CT areas. Please call Judy with any further questions at 401 640-0082...would LOVE a furever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabella, a Foster Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Foster, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
