Sunny was found in a high kill shelter, we aren't sure what brought him to that end but we know that this sweet boy was not going to have a shortened life. Sunny is probably between 1-2 years old and 25#. A perfect gentleman, good with other dogs and loving to people. Sunny was taken into Rescue and now ready to find his new furrever family.

Sunny's adoption fee is $250 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Germantown Cocker Spaniel/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Chihuahua for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Chihuahua breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
