Ralphie – This boy is an extremely beautiful 2 to 3 year old black lab who is just a really great guy. Ralphie came from a high kill shelter like most of our labs and he sure didn’t deserve to be there. He has a nice shiny black coat and is of average size for a male – about 70 lbs. Ralphie is an all around good boy who likes people, other dogs, and just enjoys life. He loves the attention he gets and he loves to romp and play with his canine foster siblings. He does settle down very nicely after excercise, he takes treats gently and he is considered to be a medium to high energy boy. Ralphie would need some obedience training as he has probably never had anyone take the time to work with him. But, he is definitely well worth it. Ralphie has lots of energy when he first starts out on a walk, but then settles in pretty good once he gets that energy out and he does like to go for car rides and does very well. Ralphie would love nothing more than to have a wonderful family to call his very own. He would be a great companion for most any family, as he has been well socialized with men, women and older children. He appears not to be too interested in the kitties, but will cat test if necessary. Ralphie would make a great hiking, running and walking companion.
Ralphie is neutered, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. He is also on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative.
