Looking for a fun, silly, bubbly little Border Collie filled with exuberant glee? Well here she is! Introducing Maesey! This darling little live wire is just the cat's meow. A classic black and white semi rough coat, 3 year old Maesey is a totally adorable, glass-half-full kind of girl who finds fun wherever she can. She is also filled to the brim with personality, and is sure to make you chuckle with all her silly expressions and antics! This confident little girl is all about happiness, cuddling, and action...and not necessarily in that order. She rolls with the punches and finds enjoyment in everything she does. She loves interacting with, getting attention from, and snuggling with her people, and warms up pretty fast to strangers, too, although she can get overwhelmed by crowds. She gets along very well with other dogs and has a great time romping around with her fellow canines - especially her foster brother, who she has a secret crush on! Unlike many BCs, Maesey LOVES the dog park, especially if she can play chase and keep away games. She does show some herdyness and will chase others who are fetching - if she can have her own ball in her mouth when she does, all the better! Her herdyness, however, results in her pestering horses, and she is too herdy to live with children. Maesey also loves to play tug and likes squeaker toys. She enjoys hiking and swimming and running and will make a fabulous outdoor adventure sidekick. Given her energy, athleticism, and desire to learn, Maesey would likely be a great dog sport candidate as well. Maesey is a high energy BC. She is very busy and eager for action and direction every day, and will need adopters who can be sure to provide her with a LOT of physical and mental stimulation daily
Wait! Did we say mental stimulation? Yep, Maesey is a BC who is looking for her forever family to teach her anything and everything. She is sensitive, responsive, and very willing and eager to learn. She's already housetrained, cratetrained, and walks well on a leash. She comes when called and is ready to move on to the more difficult basics! The sky's the limit as to what this girl can learn, and Maesey will thrive with adopters who can not only continue with her education, but provide her all the action and stimulation she craves.
All in all, Maesey is a wonderful example of the breed and all it has to offer. She will thrive in a home who can not only provide for all her needs but who love to laugh as well! Maesey is the best of both worlds - one who loves both loving AND living If you are looking for a young BC filled with potential and personality - delightful Maesey may be just the one for you!
