My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nickie is just gorgeous! She is a German Shepherd that was found as a stray. Nickie cannot be placed with young children. She is friendly with other dogs and afraid of cats that retaliate against her. Nickie would benefit greatly from obedience training to help her curb her jumping and excitement.

All dogs at our shelter have been started on a vaccination program, de-wormed, screened for heartworm and started on heartworm preventative, treated with Advantage for fleas, spayed/neutered and microchipped. The adoption fee for a dog is $150. If you are a PA resident, you will also be required to purchase a dog license. There are 2 licensing options : annual licenses are $6.50 and are renewable every January. Lifetime licenses are $31.50 and never need to be renewed.
