WILLOW's Story...
WILLOW is a young hound mix found abandoned and starving in a remote rural area. We estimate her date of birth to be February 2012. She is spayed, de-wormed, heartworm negative and fully-vaccinated. She is current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She stands about 22 inches at the shoulder and weighs 45 lb. We're still trying to decipher her ancestry. When she's really happy, her tail curls cutely sideways over her back. She has rear dew claws and some medium-length fur on her tail the and the ruff of her neck. She can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly once she knows you. She enjoys the company of other non-aggressive dogs and is even making good progress in the company of cats. Willow is house-trained, knows how to use the doggie door, and is crate-trained for nighttime sleeping. She walks on a leash but still balks a little bit. Willow has a warm, winsome, affectionate personality. She is quite smart, curious, charming and gleeful, with a playful, busy personality. She is a gentle dog who does well with children. She'd be happy in a family environment. This is a courtesy posting. This dog is not affiliated with P.S. I Love You! Animal Rescue but is fostered by another party. Why Adoption is a Great Option

WILLOW, a Glastonbury Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
