My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Before contacting us in regards to a dog, please complete an adoption application Adoption Application

Sheba is a six month old red merle aussie, she is spayed, fully vetted and on heartworm prevention. Sheba is the product of merle to merle breeding and does have some vision impairments but she is not deaf, she can hear just fine. Sheba came to our rescue after being dropped off at a volunteers home with a note saying to take care and find her a good home, some medication for her black widow spider bite and her CKC papers.....Sheba was scared to death when she was discovered by the volunteer. Imagine being dumped at a strange place with strange dogs and feeling badly already from a spider bite.....throw into the mix not having good vision..........
Sheba has come around quickly in her foster home, here is what they have to say about Sheba
"Wanted a forever family for a fantastic, frisky 6 month old pup. She's a girl that will win your heart. She loves to play, with people or doggy friends. She loves to cuddle and has no idea that she's not a lap dog. Sheeba loves people but can be snippy with new dogs due to vision and socialization issues. She came to us with a nasty black widow spider wound but it has healed beautifully. If you want a gorgeous loving playful wigglebutt, Sheeba is your girl."
Due to her vision limitations she does require a proper introduction to another dog but does fine once she gets to know them.
She is a happy, loving girl who just needs a forever family to give her plenty of love.
Sheba is located in the Savannah Georgia area and if you are interested in adopting Sheba please contact Kim Johnson at savaussies@comcast.net
