Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pippa! A young, black lab/Irish Wolfhound mix. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and heart worm negative.
Her story: She was found limping down CC Hwy in Missouri. A kind lady picked her up and took her to the clinic. Pippa was apparently hit by a car. The injury had happened about a month before as her muscles began to atrophy. She has a Fermoral Head Ostectomy (FHO). w
hich is a surgical procedure that removes the femoral head and neck from the femur. FHO surgery is performed to alleviate pain. If her leg had been left like this, she would have lived with pain for the rest of her life. Pippa is now using her leg and is expected to make a full recovery. It is assumed that her first time in a house was after her surgery which was in July. She is a wiggly, happy girl who will follow you wherever you go! We'd like to thank our friends at Sherri's Kitty Rehab in MO
