Hi! I am Zeke, a Quaker also known as Monk Parakeets and I am estimated to be 5-8 years old. I am a very affectionate and intelligent parrot. I will tightly bond to the person I choose and tolerate others living in the home. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, I choose who I like and go to that person willingly. I show affection by leaning my cheek towards you and pull away to see your reaction. (I love doing that over and over.) I can talk and do on a daily basis. When I whistle, I do it out the side of my beak with a slight tilt of my head. My foster mom thinks it is the cutest thing in the world. I was a former plucker, while I don’t do that any longer there are bare parts on me that won’t re-grow feathers. My foster mom says that it is okay, I just have built-in air conditioning. I am not shy about food, love pellets, love seeds, and will try pretty much anything. By the way, in my previous home I had a feathered buddy named Sunny, he’s a cockatiel. We were not bonded, but we do enjoy each other’s company and we both need a forever home. So, I’ve your interested in me; please consider my friend Sunny too.
