My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is an adorable, happy, friendly and loving little pup in need of a home. this tiny little gal is about 14 weeks old and weighs around 10 pounds. Dixie was rescued from a pound in southern IL with his 10 (yes 10!) siblings. They were surrendered when homes could not be found for them. Their previous owner reported that they were Beagle mixes and we are expecting them to be medium sized adults. Dixie and all of her siblings are very social and outgoing pups that will make ideal companions for any household with the time and energy for a young puppy. Please come and meet them today!


• Dixie’s adoption donation is $350. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Dixie from euthanasia.

• All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
