Ashley's Story...
Ashley is a female who was born April 26, 2007.

Ashley is an active, busy, mischievous, little 2# tiger kitten with tons of personality. She loves the other kitties and would need to have a playmate. She is very smart as she knows exactly where the litter pan is.

Although Ashley is so active, she is also extremely affectionate. She will jump into your lap, snuggle and fall asleep. Ashley is a wonderful, precious pet for the right home.

When she came to us, the pads of her front feet had been burned and blistered and her whiskers on one side were singed. She is in good health now and, judging by her activity, this is no longer a problem!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashley, a Howell Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Howell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
