My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackie is a 1-year-old black lab and weighs about 70 pounds. She's a beautiful dog! Jackie found herself in a Tennessee shelter and is now looking for a home to call her own. Jackie is very intelligent and learns quickly what she is taught; whether it be simple commands or more complicated ones. Jackie can sit, stay, lay down and has almost mastered roll over, that's what she and her foster family are working on now. Also, if you raise your hands up in front of you she'll jump up to you, she doesn't quite understand when you only say 'up'. She is such a smart girl and just wants to please her people! She is good with other dogs and is ok around the kitties too. She is good with children but can get a little excited, so remember to watch smaller children until Jackie settles down. Jackie’s foster family likes to call her "a 10 pound dog in a 70-pound dog's body". She loves to get up and cuddle with you and she enjoys sleeping with her owner(s) whenever she can. She would be an excellent family dog but she would also be wonderful as a solitary companion, she just wants a family of her own and if that comes with other fur siblings or not she will be happy just to find her forever home!! Jackie is up to date on all her vaccinations, heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea preventative.
