Pippin is a fun, happy, playful and loving one-year-old mix. He appears to be a mix of Sheltie and Pomeranian. He weighs 14 lbs. He is loving, affectionate and sweet with humans, and welcoming and playful with other dogs. He is able to settle down in the house (he is often found laying at my feet, while I work at the computer) or can chill peacefully in his crate.
Pippin loves to run around and play with the other dogs at the rescue, either with toys, or just chasing each other all around. He can easily go for walks or hikes, or be a playmate to another dog. He is potty trained (though potty reinforcement is required in any new environment) and does not lift his leg in my house. He is crate-trained, and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. He is not a barker per se, though he will alert if someone comes to fence. He is very food motivated, so this helps immensely for training purposes. He is neutered, de-wormed, fully vaccinated, as well as micro-chipped. The best home for Pippin is one where he can have some exercise and some daily activities, such as walks, dog park, etc.
If you are interested in Pippin please contact Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue at: adopt@angelsheartdogrescue.com. E-mail is preferable. The phone number to the rescue is: 626-340-9316, however, there is no need to contact the rescue if you have not first submitted your interest by way of e-mail. Please also visit my website at: http://www.angelsheartdogrescue.com and go to the Adoption Tab to read about the adoption process; thank you!
